Persistent Identifiers Policy

All texts and issues published by the Ecuadorian Journal of Philosophical-Theological Sciences are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), which ensures unique and permanent access to articles through the constant registration, tracking, and monitoring of metadata. Each DOI is generated by Crossref through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. To ensure its proper functionality, the DOI is always displayed as a complete URL link, both in the presentation of articles and issues, as well as in PDF files.

The ORCID iD is mandatory. It is a persistent identifier that distinguishes authors from other researchers, facilitates the recognition of their contributions, and reduces the possibility of errors in their registration. This identifier is obtained by authors themselves through the ORCiD website, a global nonprofit organization that promotes the transparent sharing of information.
